The purpose of the tournament was to raise money to support rebuilding efforts in Ukraine, which has seen much of its built environment and heritage devastated since 2022. Proceedings went towards the construction of the RE:Ukraine Community Hub project in Vorzel, a suburb of Kyiv that was devastated during the early months of the full scale invasion of Ukraine.
Entries cost £500 per team and, this year, teams from Max Fordham, Atrium, Maccreanor Lavington, Scape, FaulknerBrowns, PRP, Landsec, StuRents, Populous, Buro Four, GIA, Cundall, Quintain, Native Land, Eckersley O’Callaghan, LocatED - Kajima, Eric Parry Architects, Bishopsgate Goodsyard, Civic Engineers and tournament "host" ING all competed.
